Consultation

Consultation relating to Whittington Farm is being undertaken by Pegasus Group on behalf of the Merevale and Blyth Estates, and we would like to know your views on the initial ideas for the site. This period of consultation is important to us in understanding the views of the local community and, where possible, incorporating these into the proposals before submitting an outline planning application to North Warwickshire Borough Council.

There are a number of different ways in which we will try to involve as many people as possible in our consultation and encourage everyone to share their thoughts and views on our proposals for Whittington Farm.

A leaflet has been delivered to local households and businesses, letting people know about our initial ideas for the site, and allowing them to make comments and let us know about any issues we should consider. A public consultation event will also be held on:

Tuesday 5th December 2023, between 3-7pm at The Atherstone Red Lion Hotel, 99 Long Street, Atherstone CV9 1BB.

A Consultation Statement will be submitted to North Warwickshire Borough Council to accompany a future planning application. This report will provide feedback to everyone who has been involved in the process, identifying key issues raised, how they have been considered and how they have shaped the proposals.

It is likely that the planning application will be submitted in Spring 2024.

While there may be concerns about how the site will be developed your comments are an important part of shaping the proposals and help produce a development that complements and adds to the area. You can make your views known on the proposals, give us alternative suggestions, and let us know any issues that we need to consider to inform our proposals using the comments form below.

Please submit all comments by Friday 22nd December 2023.
